Pic's of MINI Challenge Brake Cooling????

Does anyone have access to a MINI Challenge prepared car? I'm looking for some pic's of the brake cooling ducts. The only pic's I've seen so far are from the side showing 2 hoses directed to the front and back of the brake disk. It would be nice to see the hose routing from some different angles. Actually, I'd love to see any pic's showing MINI Challenge race preperation. (Please!!!!!!).

Actually from what I read the kit on the GP is just for show and not functional. to quote this MotoringFile article -

However one aspect of the car that’s surely going to disappoint enthusiasts; the apparent brake cooling ducts are reportedly just for show. This is odd since JCW Motorsport actually sells a brake cooling ducts for the JCW Challenge cars. It would have seemed a no-brainer to integrate them into this car.

That is from an older article so hopefully it is not the case now, but I have heard nothing to the contrary.

I thought the cooling ducts where for the front brakes and not the rear? Have I missed something?

It was acceptable in the 80's

I assume you have already seen the small image on the JCW site (http://www.johncooper.co.uk/JohnCoop...ort%5FBrakes/).

I don't think they have rear brake cooling vents in the mini-challenge, as I imagine it is the fronts that give out way earlier. The pic below shows the front brake air-diverters which take their air through the fog-light holes in the front bumper (I think). Probably wouldn't be too difficult to knock-up a DIY solution using some appropriately sized flex-hosing if you don't mind removing your lower-lights.

I was thinking of something like this. Showing more of how the hose is run. Any info on the brakes or any other prep for the Challenge Cup cars would be great!!!
