| GP 06 MCS 0380 | Wheel Damage Was just washing my MCS there and was just finishing washing my R105 wheels when I noticed a big surface defect! Looks like a circle of material has cracked off the surface of one of the wheel spokes. It seems like it is just a piece of the enamel type layer on top of the metal alloy, as the surface of the detect is smooth and black in colour like the rest of the spoke. It looks like it could crack further, and im not best pleased! Has anyone else experienced this sort of wheel damage and can this enamel type layer be repaired? ![]() |

| GP 06 MCS 0380 | Looks like stone could have done it, but its the size of a pound coin the hole. Do I have a case for a warranty claim? Just taken a picture of the wheel and it looks like the enamel is bubbling at the edges of the chip. Looks like the enamel is peeling like sunburnt skin! And its not as if I've used any specific harsh wheel cleaners, just meguiars car shampoo and a sponge! ![]() |

| GP 06 MCS 0380 | The paint underneath tho is totally undamaged! And I havent hit any large stones in the last couple of weeks ive had the wheels back on! Would take some size of stone to chip all that enamel off. And there is a tiny bubble further out on the spoke in the first photo, which makes me suspect the excess salt on our roads recently has played havoc with the wheel! ![]() |

Offline | Might be worth taking it back to DP, see what they say. I've actually noticed a little bit of corrosion on my back 2 alloys recently, so I'm going to be heading Portadown-ward very soon too ![]() |

| GP 06 MCS 0380 | Going to remove them tomorrow night and inspect all four before going down to DP on tuesday with them to ryan. Thinking after ive been to DP, of getting rid n purchasing some decent lightweight OZ wheels. They do look awesome, but they are poor quality n damn heavy! ![]() |

Offline | As long as its not stone damage, which is considered wear and tear, and it is corrosion, you should be okay for gettig them replaced. Good luck! ![]() |
