Wheel Damage

Has anyone had their damaged alloys cosmetically repaired and were you pleased with the results?

wheels fixed

yes i had my wheels fixed they are r90 cross spokes with runflat tyres, i had them done a couple of months ago, i took them to my local mini dealer and left it there for the day, as they are a split rim she spokes are powder coated and the outer lip is chrome i had damaged the outer lip and therefore as it was fixed some prat decided to fill the outer lip in and then powder coat it so i was a bit ****ed off, so then they told me that it wasnt done at the dealer it was driven to a guy who does it for them, as i had a go at them a hadnt got a leg to stand on as they said that had it been done here we could do something about the problem but they decided that they were to take it to this repair guy and let him handle it so in the end i had bought a new r90 cross spoke wheel and put it on where the other one used to be, and have got the repaired one to use as a spare tyre ditto as there running on runflat tyres anyway.

Kwik Fit did serious damage to 3 of my wheels, after ringing their HQ, the area manager said I wasn't the only moaner from that branch, he'd sacked the kid responsible and sent a local guy round who did em on my drive for nowt. Fantastic, I cannot tell where the damage was, very, very impressed.
Also, he said he had black, and could all 4 for just over £100. Mmmmm black alloys, tempted, very..

Yes, I have had a quote from a local garage that does these repairs for £25 plus vat per wheel.
I think I might get them done.

i know the guy who works for wicked wheels, he did a fantastic job on my S Spokes, its worth getting all 4 done, so the colours are all the same, as you can notice the difference!
