Problem with brake pedal I have just had both front and rear brake pads replaced and as expected they the brakes are a bit spongy. This is only until the "bed" in properly. But since they have been changed I have noticed that when I press down on the brake pedal there is a noise similar to air escaping. Sounds like when you put your foot down on an foot pump without the nozel being attatched to anything. Any ideas??? |

| Hi - just a quick question, is the noise heard when you press down on the brake, or as you take your foot off it, releasing pressure? If it is the latter, this is what was happening on my car. MINI looked at it and diagnosed a loose servo valve (I think) and it was repaired undert warranty. |
