If one edge is wearing excessively then I would suggest having your tracking checked

Our 'S' went for first service last week and with just under 11k miles I was feeling the car break away at the back end from time to time especially in the wet. So I got the service guys to check the suspension and rear end bits'n'bobs and they told me that I was down to 2mm and 3mm on the rear tires??????

I couldn't believe this, although I don't drive like Reginald Mole husband I can't believe I've got to fork out £400 for 2 new tires, and on the rear??

Also, I should know this really (dumb ass me!!) can you put normal non run-flat tires (obviously correct size) onto Mini rims??
