| MINI2 Regular | Replacement Tire Feedback The "Replacement Tire Statistics" thread tells us how many people have bought a particular brand/size of tire but how about some real world reviews of the tires that members have fitted. Offline | The Tire Rack Surveys can be very helpful as they are broken down by category and rate all the different tire characteristics. |

| MINI2 Regular | I'm not tire "savvy" and that's a great part of my problem. I've looked at the tire rack site before and read reviews. But I'd be interested in knowing what users have to say when they have changed from 175/65-15 to 195/60-15 which seem to be easier to find at various tire stores. I'm interested in a all year tire. Thanks Philip ![]() |

Offline | I went with Goodrich Traction TA/ H tires. I have an MCS but the tires also come in 195-60 15. Good tire for the money. Good dry and wet traction. Did my first 2 auto-x sessions on them and they did well. Looks like I should get 30K out of them and I drive pretty hard. |

Offline | Probably not so great. A better size to go with for a replacement tire is 205-50-16; very close to the same size but many more options. If you want a Michelin tire in that size that is all-season, they make the Pilot Exalto A/S in 205-50-16 which is quite good, but expensive. |

Offline | 215x40x17 Falken 452 Excellent replacement tyre for those not wanting to have P or D runflats. Superior in full wet and part wet/greasy conditions compared to Toyo, but not as grippy as the Toyos in the dry. Better than the Toyos with regard to lower road noise ...presumably due to slightly less rubber touching the surface and the tread pattern being so different. Far exceeds the Dunlop and Pirelli runflats for ride and handling in all conditions. Not tested in the snow but I guess it won't be up to much in that as its a low profile tyre with sports tread pattern. |
