FINALLY fitted my new wheels!

After hitting a MASSIVE pothole at about 60mph about a month back, i noticed a vibration at motorway speeds and discovered two of my 18" wheels had been dented and rendered pretty much useless. Despite vowing never to go back to 18's i've got four perfectly good tyres and managed to get some cheap replacements via a contact at Rimstock.
I'm well pleased with them! They look miles better than the Wolfrace Suzuka ever did (although i did only get them on a whim cos they were virtually being given away!)

The new wheels arrived on thursday but i've only got round to fitting them today and i'm pleased with the results!
Here's my wheel history so far:

From these,

...to these...

....to the 18" Wolfrace Suzuka...

....to pothole damage...

...back to these for a month...

...to my nice shiny new Team Dynamics Omega...

Well chuffed, i think they're much more in keeping with the Mini's styling. I loved my white 5 spokes but living 25 miles from work, they only stayed white for a day or so
I'm now going to start the ball rolling on claiming from the council for the cost of my new wheels, the Wolfrace ones have been discontinued so I couldn't just replace the damaged two. Thankfully

How big was the pot hole

Although IMO you owe that pot hole a favour as the Omega are much nicer than the Wolfrace, good change

They are very cool. Great choice really looks good on chili red. Not seen them before either.

Hope you do try and claim off the council it might just get someone thinking maybe we have rubbish roads that need sorting out Good luck

X2, though I still think they look to "shiny" but that is probably me just not liking wheels that are not white, black, or dark! No chrome and No silver for me.

I'm a fan of gun metal or flat black wheels myself but I just needed the cheapest deal i could get! I particularly like these OZ Records in dark grey..... http://shop.ozracing.com/moda/p.php?p=index

The finish on these Omega's is High Power Silver which is basically a really shiny silver over a black base coat, it looks tons better than bog standard silver.

Yeah, they're a million times nicer. I only bought the Wolfrace cos they cost me £360 for wheels AND tyres on a Wolfrace clearance deal. The Team Dynamics don't have the same impact as the Wolfrace did when the car was moving (especially at night, big spinning discs of silver) but i like the 'factory' look, they're more subtle.

Well thanks everyone! To be honest a really liked my most recent white ones but the whole brake dust issue was a pain and i have new pads so changing to Greenstuff (low brake dust) seemed a waste. Part of me thinks I should have had www.lap-tab.co.uk repaint them in graphite grey. That would've looked cool but, hey, i'm rolling on 18's

Their wheels are always really nicely finished (we stock some of them). Team Dynamics come through Rimstock who design and supply wheels for the likes of this lot:

Aston Martin
Colt Cars
Daihatsu
Daimler-Chrysler
Ford
General Motors
Hyundai
Jaguar
Kia
Lexus
Lotus
Mazda
Mitsubishi
Nissan
Renault
Saab
Subaru
Suzuki
Toyota
Triumph Motorcycles
TVR
VW Audi

(cut and paste is well handy!)

They even have a department that makes whacky wheels for concept cars so they've pretty much got the whole big spinny thing sussed out! And my rep Steve is a jolly nice chap too!
