Volume of Brake Fluid

Okay, my manuals are at home, but I was intending on buying some brake fluid today, along with a bleeding kit.

Does anybody know the volume of fluid required to bleed the complete system?

I am guessing that 2 litres should do it, perhaps 3 allowing for the wastage required to actually bleed "through".

2 litres will be fine and will allow for some wastage.
