Offline | I am getting my new Mini this Wednesday (yes, pics will be posted), and I plan on getting some 18's that I already have picked out. But, I am rather trepidatious as to how it will look without being lowered. The gap doesn't seem too bad to me. I know that my last car was lowered and the gap was about the same as in an unmodified Mini. My concern is what effect the 'shorter springs' will have on the shocks and their lifespan........Any input is greatly appreciated.... Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes.....That way if you **** him off, you will be a mile away and he will have no shoes.... |

Offline | Hello there. Go in my gallery and you will see mine with 18" KAHN RSV and AERO full body kit. I dont have any lowered suspension and i pretty like it cause i dont have a problem on bumps, hight parking entrances etc so i think i will leave it as it is. |

Offline | thanks, It does rub like crazy but that is because my wheels are 8" wide and the maximum recommended for a lowered mini is 7.5". I have never hit the front bumper on anything though and that includes a very steep multi storey car park that i had to park in for 2 weeks. ![]() |
