s spoke wheel damaged!!

After having my front tyres changes last week the car has developed a vibration at 55mph..

on closer inspection there is a large subtle dent in the inside edge of the front wheel, probably caused buy hitting a pot hole (my girlfriend has remained rather quiet about the whole thing!!)

the tyre fitter (a good local specialist) rebalanced all the wheels and swapped the front dameged wheel to the back.. much better but can still very subtly feel a vibration..

so, can this be repaired..? if not what is the cost of a replacement rim.. ? or.. does anyone have a spare s spoke hanging around that I coulb buy off them!!!

The same is happening to me

well no vibration lucky

I hit a kerb when i thought a car coming was closer than it actully was.
I was so ****ed off when it happened though , it was the back alloy that caught the kerb.
And yes my fault, but i havent kerbed any other wheel ever

I was looking for an S Spoke too, although i take it would cost £££'s to remove a run flat and then put it back on a new S Spoke.

The only option im waiting for is 1 s spoke with a run flat on it

Sig Coming Soon..

they seem to pop up on eBay frequently, most often with tires. If the dent (which is large AND subtle?) has caused the wheel to be unbalanceable (is this a word?), then it will need to be replaced. I have had a similarly damaged alloy wheel repaired as an interim measure. The dent in this case was sufficient that the tire/wheel would not hold air. A mechanic restored the shape of the wheel with a plastic mallet. It got me by until I was able to locate a replacement, and became my full size spare.
