19 Inch Wheel Help Needed

I am looking at putting 19s on my '02 MCS. I can get the wheels I want in 19x7inch with a +40 offset. will this be ok and what size tyre should I run to prevent any rubbing issues if there is any with 7s?

Members who have reported 19" wheels on their MINIs are running 215/35-19 tires.

At 24.93" (633.1mm) in overall diameter I'd be concerned about rubbing on ET40 wheels.

Im running 19 x7.5 with 215/35 tyres with a 42 offset.

With 2 in the car it never catches the arches, but with a full car it does catch now and again. Ive never had the front arches catch tho. Worth it i think for the looks tho

Bad news guys... I just got told that they've decided not to supply the 19x7 inch wheels in the model i wanted. Not enough demand. So I've decided to go for 18x7.5s instead, same design wheel, just one inch smaller. Thanks for the quick words of help though!

If i find another design i like in 19s i'll be sure to grab them.
