Possibility of using 18" wheels with tire pressure warning system?

I'm curious if moving to 18" wheels and 215/35/18 tires would cause any issues with the tire pressure warning system? BTW, this is on a Cooper S.

TIA

It's done on the ABS sensor, so only looks for differences between the wheel speeds I think. It should be fine, G8BAD_COOPER has 18's and don't think he has any problems

That's great... I knew that it was done using the wheel speed sensors but I wasn't sure if it required an exact rolling diameter (of stock) for the basis of its calculations. If the system is based on a differential between wheels, I guess it would not be affected.

Thanks!

Well there's a difference in the stock rolling diameters anyway so I don't think it works on that:

Either way, G8BAD is running those tyres so it must be fine
