| MINI2 Regular | Yokohamas A539 on MCS? hi guys, anyone has any good experience with Yoko A539 on their Mini? are they safe in the wet? also are they noisy? i am thinking of buying a set to replace my runflat, also will the 225/40R16 fit on my orginal X-lite wheels? regards Alfred |

Offline | the yoko a539 is a very good tyre till it starts raining then hold on for your life i know a few people with them and thats there feedback id say the pirelli p zero nero / goodyear f1 / or the conti spt cnct2 i know there all branded tyres but its like anything you pay for what you get |

| GP 06 MCS 0380 | I have yokohama A539's on my S spokes on MCS. They are brilliant cant recommend them enough, less road noise than runflats, more economical on fuel, very grippy(did a track day on them, much more grip than runflats), they are lasting forever, and I would say they are pretty darn good in the wet! At the track day (which was mainly a tvr/porsche/westfield track day) I noticed a renault 5 turbo and a 306 rallye with them on also. And they are pretty inexpensive compared with the runflats too. ![]() |

Online | The Tire Rack doesn't list any tires in a 225/40-16 fitment. They list some in 225/45-16 and the minimum rim width listed for them is 7". BTW ... the 225/40-16 fitment is not within the recommended ±3% of stock. |
