Offline | Best size tyres for 17" wheels I haven't had my MCS JCW long but have just noticed that the previous owner changed the runflats with 205/40 17". The owners manual stated that they should be 205/45 instead. I'm loving the handling as it is right now but would like your views on the best size tyre for 17" wheels. Thanks in advance |

Offline | Click here to see what others have done. You'll probably find that most people run either the OEM 205/45/17 sizing, or 215/40/17s. According to the calculator on this site you should probably follow suit as it is recommended to stick within a 3% tolerance of OEM sizing…  Last edited by MINIAC : Oct 9th, 2007 at 04:31 PM. |
