Urgent Tyre help

Time to replace my nearly worn out Falken 451 tyres (215x40x17) so I ring around for local best price,I have been fairly happy with the falkens so decided to try the new 452 version.Down to the tyre fitters and it seems that they thought I wanted Falken 512 which they had in stock and after explaining to them that I had asked for the 452,s they only had 3 in stock and would take 3 days to get the other one.
But they had four Toyo T1-s (£30 dearer for the four) and told me they would be fine,at this stage I couldnt remember which Toyo's were the later version (ok I know now)
Drove home(taking it easy) was running 31 psi on old tyres so had same pressure in the new toyos. Car drove fine until I decided after about one hundred miles to try them out in earnest, oops going round corners it seems like Im driving on jelly.Seems to be more bodyroll (sidewalls flexing?)
I then increased the tyre pressure to 34psi and it was slightly better
My S has lowered eibach springs, eibach roll bars front and rear, standard shocks
Car has been fine untill tyre swop.
Questions
Are Toyo T1-S poor on a mini
Am I running to low/high tyre pressure (Toyo website says 34psi all round)
Do I need to put more miles on the tyres before they improve
Should I go back to the tyre fitters and hope to get them changed to my original choice

many thanks

i used to run toyo t1-r's, they would be one of the best street tyres ive used, farily priced, but well worth it. ive never actually heard of t1-S's so i wouldnt know much, unless they are the grade below.

ps. the toyo r888's are awesome, best r-spec tyres u can find. imo toyo's make pretty good tyres. and ive never actually been dissappointed.

compared to the old falken ziex, the falkens were sh*thouse! and they can no where near compare with toyo T1-R's

and to answer your question. go back and offer a change with some cash adjustment for the ones u want, nothing worth than having a set of tyres u cant wait to waste to get new ones heahhae

Nos-ing it all the way home...
