Those GP Replicas do look a little on the rough-ish side....IMHO

What a hassle I've had trying to get these bl$%*dy wheels.
It turns out they were not hyper black but gunmetal grey (much nicer) anyway went to get them fitted a couple of weeks ago and it turns out the ones in stock were 5 stud not 4.
No problem I was told "we'll just order up the 4 stud and you'll have them in a few days".
The wheels were then out of stock and should have been here today, but I got a call this morning to say they would be another week or longer
My tyres are getting pretty close to illegal (really really close) and after phoning a diffrent company and being told I can't get the 18's with 4 stud only the 17's ( which were out of stock there anyway) I'am going off my frickin head.

I'am not an akward person but I saw these wheels and really likes them so I thought I'd just wait but now I'am not sure. I now know I would like gumetal grey or anthracite (proper name?) alloys so any suggestions would be good.

I see someone posted about Team Dynamics Pro Race which are pretty similar but I don't know if I like them as much.

PS the wheels in question are KEI force 10 18" gunmetal gey

The saga ends.

Whilst waiting on the kei wheels my local shop got in those worx gp wheels.
They looked fantastic in the flesh (matt black) not cheap looking or bad quality so I went for them.

I also paid less than the ebay prices £820 with toyo proxes T1-R.
I'll post some pics after the weekend.

Looking forward to pics!

I'm thinking about them in Jet (gloss) black...do you think they'll look good in gloss too?!

The chrome is quite a high sheen so the matt black does look really good along side it
thay never had the high gloss in stock but I just prefer the matt.

Are the silver (chrome?) parts of the wheels lacquered?

I just thought gloss on my car as it's astro black, and against a metically black car the matt black wheels could just look dull and dirty?

Can't decide :/

The chrome is like brushed and the black really does not look dull matt.
It looks really good as the chrome rally stands out against the black, I think the polished
black is the reason people have been saying that they look cheap and low quality.

They really are good looking wheels and also there not heavy.

I just think the polished black looks a bit more interesting?!

If the chrome is just brushed and not lacquered, I'd be concerned about damage and stonechips?

After much deliberation, I've decided on the Mist (matt) Black ones. Reckon they'll look classier - really looking forward to pics abigminicooper - what colour is your MINI?

The good thing about these wheels is they have a much better offset (and they're 7.5" wide) than the OEM GP wheels, and cost half the price They're also 9.5kgs each which is really light for an 18" wheel!!

Sure is my ^$%£!"* tyres weigh that (runflats)

One of the reasons ill be ditching them later in the year for some lightweight rims & better high performance tyres!

Hmmm there are 2 listings on Ebay...

...one stating 9.5kg, the other 11.2kg

Both with the same company

Damo: He initially said 11.2, I questioned him about them being heavy, and he said he re-weighed them and they're 9.5kg. I've got it in writing...
