Offline | Our 2 month old MCS, fitted with Dunlop DSST's, took it upon itself to run over an exhaust pipe left in the middle of the M62! I now need 2 new tyres and was wondering if I could replace them with non-run flats. My idea is to fit standad tyres and carry a can of aerosol tyre weld, as a 'get me home' solution. Any thoughts? |

Offline | Alex at TireRack here in the states tells me that 85% of his sales on minis are to convetional tires. There is a kit for anout 75US that has a battery compressor with a replaceable cannister of sealant. When my wheels come in I will be going to non-runflats. I am told the ride is also smoother. Cheers and Beers |
