I use a alloy wheel sealent on mine, you need to give the wheels a good clean & apply the sealent as you would a wax to your bodywork - after using it you only need to use standard car shampoo to clean them & keep them looking their best

Wonder Wheels by carplan works for me £9.99 and you even get a little brush to apply.

I use Wonder wheels if normal washing doesn't work, and Turtlewax wax for wheels really helps keep the dirt off

Having run a test on wheel waxes I have a poor opinion of them. I would also advise
that you avoid Wonder Wheels unless you can't shift some marks as it is very
powerful. It eats concrete and can damage some wheel. Meguiars Hot Wheels and
Autoglym are also very good cleaners and gentler on the wheel long term. The best
advise you have been given though is fit Green Stuff pads. Work a treat and a lot
less dust .

Some people are like a Slinky ........ not really good for anything, but you still can't help
but smile when you shove them down the stairs

I wonder if anyone has an idea for cleaning the wheels on the inside as well as the outside. So far I've been afraid to use the chemical cleaners because I'm not yet in the position to change wheels if I mess these ones up. One thing I notice thought is that even if one washes the outside of the wheel, there is still junk in the inside. It would be much nicer if it was all cleaned.

I find that the MINI stuff they sell at the dealers in fantastic. I have S spokes and it gets the pitting stains out without any scrubbing and its safe to use without gloves!

I have white S spokes and I use Wonder Wheels on mine. I bought a trade 5ltr bottle on ebay for a couple of quid more than a 500ml they sell in the shops! The guy also sent a free aplicator brush with it. The funny thing is I bought it for my dad as a birthday present and I am the one who has used most of it

I use Autoglym everything i have the wheel cleaner and sealent and it works fine and a quick blast with the hose after a long run cleans them nicely as the white wheels seem to be dirt magnets!. You can buy some good gel based wheel cleaners cannot remeber the brand but they are less harsh than the cheaper acid based cleaners.
