Offline | I like. I am torn to get these or go to reduced 17" Team Dynamics black Pro Race 1.2s .....I want to go low and I am not loving the 18s for ride on 35 profile tyres...sigh Look soooo good though on DS though Excellent choice if your not worried about the unsprung weight of the car |

Offline | the quality of the wheels are great no worse than the s spokes probably better as the silver part of the wheel looks really good. The matt black is what you get its matt black how it can look worse or better I don't know. The weight problem is not an issue they are not heavy we tested that in the shop and you no what even if they are heavier I can't tell the diffrence,I'am no racing driver. When you change to 18" and get a lower profile tyre I'am sure lowering it could help but its really not that bad looking and once your on the road you can't really notice I also have now seen and sat in a Mini GP in the flesh last Saturday (amazing car and the sound puts the S to shame) the wheels were very hard to tell apart (apart from the crappy worx logo ).The best thing is I like them. |

Offline | the most important thing is you bought them because you like them, opinions are peoples personal views, and as long as you like them, then it doesnt matter! enjoy the wheels i think they really suit your car. |

Offline | The Worx wheels are 9.5kg, the GP ones 9kg. The Worx ones also have a "better" offset of 42, vs 52. That said, I'm hoping to get the official GP wheels myself, not the Worx ones now. ![]() |

| "I'm kind of a big deal" | I've sold shed loads of aftermarket alloy wheels and NOT ONCE has anyone ever asked the weight of them! Who cares if they're a bit heavier? People are only comparing them because they're replicas, i bet it wouldn't even be brought up if you'd have put a heavier set of TSW or Wolfrace wheels on! As mark says, it's only 500grams anyway! |

Offline | Loads of people are concerned about weight - considering the MINI ones are pretty heavy for their size across the range. Some people buy for performance and not looks alone MY05 MINI COOPER S - DS/B - GTT OPTIMISED- THANKS FOR THE RIDE - ENTER THE R56 JCW |

| "I'm kind of a big deal" | Like i said, in my experience, nobody seems bothered about weight when buying wheels and I have sold a fair few sets each month for the past 8 years! I know there are some out there who buy for performance but they wouldn't be buying replica wheels anyway. The point of a replica wheel is that its a more affordable version of a wheel that people buy because it looks OEM, not because the OEM version is light. If you wanted light wheels there are loads out there lighter than 9kgs! For instance Team Dynamics Pro Race 2 (mentioned by someone earlier) are only around 7.5kgs for the 17"! Not having a go or anything, just seems like nit-picking if you ask me...... ![]() Anyway, next week i'm putting 14" on the front and 19" on the back of my Mini so i'm always going downhill. Saves on fuel you see.......... ![]() |
