Should have posted this a long time ago as I've had them on for a couple months now...

Nice. Boy, I'd love some of those (though I think I'd prefer silver myself). Still, nice.

Get yourself some nice shiney tyre shine to go with those black wheels. Black wheels and dried grey rubber is not a good look

It was acceptable in the 80's

Nice, was tempted to do that on my own car. I think you need to lower it as well....

Dark Silver

Looks really good. Love those wheels. Just spotted you have JCW brake kit, did you have to fit spacers or do they fit underneath the dares.
Cheers

Thanks, Jim.

I believe the spacers that came with the rims where used. Can't remember what size, though.

They were pink.

They are just the fitting rings (spigot rings). They are plastic and fit into the hub of the rim so that it fits flush to your MINI hub flange. They don't space the rim away from the car to allow extra clearance behind the wheel. The JCW kit fits behind the Dares with no modification or spacers. Wheel spacers are metal not plastic and fit over your hub bolts between the hub and the back of the actual wheel.
