'05 Cooper S tires

I'm gonna be replacing the tires on my '05 Cooper S after 19,000 miles... Does anyone know if there's a compatible tire that isn't as expensive as the factory recommended Dunlop run flat tire? I believe the model is 19555R16 - just wanted to see if anyone had some ideas as i research. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

There's not a lot of choice in the stock 195/55R16 size, it's a bit of an oddball size, but Toyo makes one or two, I believe the T1R (perf. summer) or Proxes 4 (perf. all season) that can be had in that size. These are not runflats, mind you.
Some folks at tire replacement time opt for the wider variety of choice in the 205/50R16 size, with plenty of offerrings in both summer and all-season, but again these are not runflats.
If you want to stick with runflats the only models that come to mind are the Dunlop SP Sport 5000 that came on your car (all season), or the SP Sport 3000 (similar, but summer tread), and the Goodyear NCT5 (summer) that came on the Cooper sport package cars.
Typically the non runflats are less expensive to purchase.
