New Tyres

I've just got back from having my new wheels/tyres fitted, and I've noticed something strange on my tyres.

They're Goodyear Eagle F1s (215/35/18), and on 2 of the tyres, there's a sort of strip of very flimsy rubber stuck onto the tyre going across it...you can sort of tear it off, but with a lot of effort. The other two tyres have a few odd bits of this stuff attached to them, but not the full width as the other 2 do.

No other tyres I've had have had this on them?!

Hopefully someone can shed some light on it for me!

Mark

Just never had it before...driven over 50 miles already and still there...will it wear off in a couple of days?

300-400 miles of normal driving to run your tyres in Better make it a 1000 for you

Buying GP wheels and not showing them off is a crime!
