Offline | Colour Coded web spokes on Sparkling Silver... Hi folks, Noticed on my dealers demo R56 Cooper S (in Sparkling Silver) the 17" web spoke alloys have been colour coded to match the bodywork... Have all the dealer demo cars been given this treatment or has the dealer just used their own initiative? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Looks though ![]() ![]() |

Offline | I dropped in on the way home and the dealer says they are as they came from MINI (launch spec car). Perhaps it was a trick of the showroom light, or just them being on a silver car that made them look the same. Couldn't check tonight as the car was parked out in the dark. ![]() |

Offline | I have a sneaky suspicion; that MINI are going to offer a 'Body Coloured wheel' option for the R56 as there were pictures posted yesterday of a Laser Blue MCS; fitted with Laser Blue JCW R105's. Not too everyones tastes,I know, But could work well on certain wheels/colours.... Either way, If MINI do Introduce it, I think it'll be a great move. ![]() GPower.......pop..pop..pop |

Offline | It's not something i'd personally go for; but I can see why a lot of other people might like the Idea. Also, nothing is a 'step too far' for MINI, as long as it get's people dipping deep into their pockets! ![]() GPower.......pop..pop..pop |

Offline | Well I look at those and can tell they're standard silver... these didn't look 'standard' silver, they matched the bodywork! I'll get a photo tomorrow AM - I drive past the dealer at 8am every day so will stop in with some wheel wash and a camera ![]() They'll be bemused when they arrive to find one clean wheel - but hey! ![]() |
