Kerbed Web Spoke!!!!

Yesterday I kerbed one of my front web spokes I'm as mad as hell

I was parked at the side of the road pretty close up to the pavement (usually I leave a good gap but road was narrow) I noted that I would have to be careful when driving away but when I returned some time later, had other things on my mind and forgot!

The damage could have been worse, as fortunately only caught a few inches rather than all the way round the rim, but bad enough for me wanting to get it repaired.

The damage is to the outer rim which looks more of a brushed finish. I'm concerned they wouldn't be able to match in with this finish and the repair may stand out more than the damage

I'd appreciate anyone who's had repairs letting me know their thoughts please?

I've arranged for Chips Away to come and inspect and give me a quote but before then would really appreciate some views on wether or not repairs to alloys (especially on a "brushed" finish) do look ok
