| MINI2 Regular | R105 wheel corrosion I have just noticed faults under the laquer on my rear wheels and looks like it will start to flake. Would this be covered under warranty? |

| GP 0380 | Yes most definitely as long as they are still within the 1 or 2 years since you bought them! Ive had all four replaced, but not all at one time. These wheels are really poor quality, and unless you are going to look after, them cleaning them regularly, and take them off in winter, avoid them!!! ![]() |

| MINI2 Regular | The previous owner got them from Blue Bell Mini @ Crewe, but he cant find the receipt. The person who looked at them said it had been caused by someone useing a screwdriver to get the center caps out. I dont agree with it myself and would say its a fault in the lacquer around the center caps. The wheels are 6 months old. |

Offline | Are these wheels realy that bad for corrosion? I am guessing they are no good for an all year round wheel ![]() The original Merlin was a Classic Mini Reg-(ONR 937R) If you know what happened to it or where it is now please let me know |

Offline | Mine about 18 months old, with no problem except me kerbing them. So I wouldn't be scared off due to one persons bad experience. It's the usual thing with a forum, you are always going to hear about peoples bad experiences. You not going to hear from people saying my "105's are brilliant"! The 18" runflats always get negatives as well, I have done 8,000 miles on mine and still have at least 4mm on the fronts. And I don't drive like a granny or grandad!!! |
