Quick runflat tyre question

Hi, I have an R52 MCS with the 16" X-Lite wheels and Goodyear Eagle runflat tyres. I have seen a lot of mention on the forum of changing to standard tyres for improved ride quality and grip, and ideally I'd like to go back to the excellent Toyo Proxes or Goodyear GSD3s I used to run on my MX5, but I seem to recall reading somewhere that you cannot use the runflat tyre compatible alloy wheels with normal tyres? Could someone helpful just confirm this please

Many thanks for any help.

totally untrue. Loads have gone back to normal tyres and if any fitter tells you otherwise then they are a total chimp

Thanks, that's excellent news, I quite like the X-lite wheels and I think they are one of the lightest 'standard' OE alloys, so it would have been a shame to lose them for tyres.
