Yes and No, the combo you have, halves the chances of being stranded with a flat tyre unless you've got goo. But, on the other hand, the combo you hugely increases the chances of a flat as opposed to having only bought runflats in the first place. To improve your odds a little, the runflats would be better at the front of the car, 'cause if you were to score a nail in the tyre whilst driving, there's a better chance of it going into the front tyre than the rear, as the front would hit it first. Again, but there is still a chance that the nail you hit, may just be flicked by the front tyre, into the path of the rear tyre and puncture it instead. So, in closing, stuffed if i know!!!! |

| I've had runflats on the back and non runflats on the front for the past 6000 miles or so with no adverse effects. However, I'm strugging to find a tyre shop to replace my non runflats with more non-runflats as they are worried about backlash from the insurance companies should I have an accident. |
