RunFlat Tyre Valves comming loose!

Has anyone else had there tyre valves coming loose. I have a Oct/55 reg Cooper S and have 3 of the Trye valve internals almost come out. They have been held in by the valve caps. These have also held in the air as far as I can see, with the Run Flat indicator eventualy comming on. Most recently I had a loss of pressure over night.

I have not contacted my local dealer yet thinking it was just me. I suppose it could be vandalism but that seems a little far fetched.

Has any body else suffered the same?

That's interesting... Which runflats do you have?

My cooper S is also Oct/55 and one of my rear Pirelli runflats keeps losing pressure. I thought it must be a nail in the tyre, but I can't find anything. I will check the valve this afternoon to see if it is also damaged. If it is I will definitely be calling the dealer!

Hi.

I had a new Pirelli runflat fitted after i had a puncture just before xmas. During the Xmas holidays my run flat indicator came back on! I checked my tyre pressures and found that the new tyre was losing air! I went back to the tyre place and they checked the tyre and found nothing wrong with it. They said it may need "resealing" which they did and the tyre has been fine since?!?
