16" Alloys With JCW Brakes?

Hello,

I got a JCW S and wondered if 16" wheels will fit on the car with the JCW brakes? Thinking of buying a set for track days.

Thanks!

Andy

Maybe.. MINI required you to get the 17" wheels on '06 when you ordered a JCW package.

That being said, the '07 front brakes are the same as the JCW brakes.. and you can get 16" rims.

You might not want to get the 16" v-spokes although the bridgespokes should be ok.

Are you talking about OEM wheels or aftermarket wheels?

The 16" OEM wheels approved for JCW brakes are the R87 (5.5" width), R94, R102 and R103.

Looks like std calipers painted red.

JCW calipers look slightly different and have the visible JCW logo.
