Looking on the JCW accessories part of the mini.co.uk site.

I really would like to get the R109 this is what it says on the site

The Double-Spoke 18-inch light-alloy wheels come in three variants: composite (pictured above), burnished with black cavities or matt black. Available for all MINI models.

reading the info on all the wheel styles it says the same for them all.

Does anyone actually know if you can get the R109 in the burnished with black cavities

I don't think you can

but I could be wrong

I saw them for the first time on Sat and the dealer had all the other JCW wheels in the different colours, but only these ones in the silver

I have specced them for my new S when it arrives

I asked about these wheels and was told silver only unlike r105 i think 3 options

R105 double-spoke wheels are available in bright-turned black or matte black.

R109 double-spoke (2-piece [composite]) wheels are only available in silver.

These wheels change how an R56 drives my last S on flames felt twichy, my new one on R109`s is the mutts nuts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well work the money

random question to throw out there... does anyone know how heavy the R109 and R105s are??? and exactly what dimensions they are?? are they just like the sport wheels only 18x7?
