...are you sure. Ever considered running normal tyres with an inflator pack in the boot. Much better ride Better handling Cheaper If you use the keyword "tyre" in yahoo.co.uk there are many online companies. Their prices fluctuate so it's worth shopping round. I've seen price differences of over £60 for the same tyre before now!!!! Cheers, K. ![]() Too many mods to list, PM me if the cat needs killing...

I have considered non runflats, but as it is the other halfs car I was a little reluctant to put her in a situation where she would be stranded due to a flat. I will re-consider. But that then means I am having to replace all 4 tyres rather than just 2. I must admit, I hate the bloody runflats. Give too hard a ride and crash and bang over all but the smoothest of road surfaces. My MCS was the same. My M3 CSL rides better on 19" and 30 profile tyres than the Mini on 17" runflats. Go figure. I generally use black circles or mytyres. I'll keep looking as there is little repsonse here.

not cheap, popped into local fitter to measure up tread, so i could advertise s-spokes this weekend, posed as mug punter and asked for costs for runflats [really to help explain why i need new alloy wheels no intention of buying any]about £165 for goodyears?, about £175 for pirelli was also informed cost of pirelli had recently been drifting up, so they could be discounted in sale the best bit..... advised me not to change from runflats as ride would get harder with normal tyres he had spoke to BMW himself blah blah blah would shake me to bits etc no he did not have a mask, but i could smell compost if you you know what i mean what a Pratt, no not kwick fit and not yts or student, made arther dailey look straight, anybody in north oxfordshire looking for tyres pm me and i will let you know who to avoid oh by the way, anything is better than a runflat, even a thick coat of paint ![]() carefree Last edited by alski; Mar 28th, 2007 at 06:35 AM.
