ssw wheels

help

anybody tried SSW wheels?
what sort of quality?
looking at a sting so 57 in 17"

passing resemblance to oz, but £300 cheaper and kinder ET

TRIED E.MAILING SSW HQ BUT NO ANSWER!

UK dealers don't know or wont say, if half way between ultraleggera and OEM then might go with it, if a bit of a turkey let me know
i assume its heavy otherwise they would post its weight, some other styles on the UK site have weights but not this one?

The superleggera is VERY light, due to how OZ constructed them. The SSW's look like a cross between the superleggeras and ultraleggeras...

...but how its constructed I wouldn't know...

OZ Superleggera Specs:..........OZ Ultraleggera Specs:
15x7 ET37 10.7lb (4.9kg).........15x7 ET37 12.4lb (kg)
16x7 ET37 14.3lb (6.5kg).........16x7 ET37 14.5lb (kg)
17x7 ET37 15.1lb (6.8kg).........17x7 ET37 16.0lb (kg)
18x7 ET42 16.5lb (7.5kg).........18x7 ET42 17.6lb (kg)
From MINI2.com.........................From WHEELWEIGHTS.NET

Not ahd any luck finding the weight of SSW Stings, but if there other wheels are anything to go by, they're unlikely to be as light as the super/ultra leggeras.

been round and round with this idea, looked at oz on e.bay, considered 16" to 18" allsorts of other makes, dare, speedline, TD 1.2 etc, never thought it could take so long to decide, anyway took a flyer with these in the end, will be on the car next weekend, with Avon shoes 215/40/17,
will let you know how i get on,
