Hi

My Cooper currently has 16" runflat tyres on 5 star spoke wheels. I would now like to change these to 17" Cooper S spoke alloys with an offset of 48.

Will these fit straight on and is the offset the same as my existing ones? Also, what tyres would you recomend to go with the new wheels, runflat or standard?

Would I need to carry out any modifications to the steering rack in terms of spacers etc to limit the lock so as to avoid the wheels rubbing the arches?

I've found a set for sale locally that I'd like to go and see today, so I would really appreciate some quick responses if anyone has any ideas.

The wheels fit right on , no mods required
