215/35/18 Tyre Choices

I need to replace the tyres (215/35/18) on my Dare X4s all round and Im after some advice on which brand/model to choose. Last time I bought some the list of manufacturers was fairly limited, but alot more seem to have started making this size. I now have a rather long list to narrow down!
  • Avon ZZ3 - £380 all inc for 4 with 5 yr warranty
  • Pirelli P-Zero - £480
  • Michellin Pilot Sport - £540
  • Toyo T1-R - £380
  • Yokohama Parada - £470
  • Goodyear EAGLE F1 GS-D3 - £440
  • Continental Sport Contact 2 - £500
  • Dunlop SP SPORT MAXX - £470
Say whatever you want, just please dont add any more to the list

Yokohama Parada gets my vote, as they fit the dare x4 very nicely, protecting the rim from any nasty kerbs. plus give a bigger footprint than most.

How do you find the Goodyears in the wet Scott? I'm running Toyo T1 R's on mine & don't like them at all in wet conditions.

Cheers
John

They're rated #2 in Wet Performance on the Tire Rack Customer Survey.

I agree with you but when use "Sort by Wet Performance" this is the way the survey is listed.
