Offline | Caliper Paint for R56 mini Hi guys, I'm personally a massive fan of coloured (ONLY LIKE RED) brake calipers like on the golf gti, ferraris porsches, etc.... I found paint on mini sports website and wanted to know a couple things....Caliper Paint | Mini Sport, spare parts, accessories and performance upgrades for your Mini | Buy Mini spares, accessories and performance parts online. For Classic Austin and Cooper and New BMW models from Mini Sport Limited. Delivery Worldwide. 1) Does the paint affect the working or performance of the brakes? obviously they are the most important part of the car!!! 2) Would it void or affect the warranty in anyway? Thanks Guys JM |

| MINIMAD | Done well they do look great, i know the seller didnt paint those callipers and its just the pictures they use......But its hardly a good selling point!!! And i certainly wouldnt pay 18 quid for some paint.....i bought a tin of Red Hammerite Smooth the other day for less than a fiver as recomended on this forum, and it does the job perfect and matches my front JCW callipers! ![]() Taking care of business |

Offline | Everybody in the TT and VW forums swear by Japlac paint for doing your calipers. Never used it myself but apparently its available in B&Q and Focus, you don't need to primer them first and it dries to an enamel like finish with no brush marks. Google it and loads comes up, might be worth a go. ![]() |
