Morning all,

Have 2 questions,

I recent bought sum new alloys with tyres, the wheels have a chrome lip around them, and the alloy is black, is they anything you guys recommend to keep the lip polished and shiny? they seem to get dirty way too quick.

Also, I noticed my tyres have gone like a dingy dirt colour, even after I have washed my wheels & car, the tyres dont look like nice clean and black and shiny

Is they anything that I can use to clean the tyres also? Its as if the dirt has permanent stuck to them lol.

Halfords do all the products u need, but I also know a man that repairs alloys. He has an old set of alloys (about 20yrs old) that look absolutely mint and all he ever uses is regular soap and water.

Thats all I would recommend on the alloys. Car shampoo and water. The chromed rim is very delicate and can corrode very easy. My R90 replicas polished rim corroded when in contact with salt on the roads in the winter.

For the tyres Meguiars Endurance High Gloss Tyre Shine is absolutely great. Black and wet looking. Just wipe it onto the tyres and there you go - it smells lovely too. Even lasts through to your next wash!

Meguiars, Sounds just like what I need, It says it stops the tyres from going brown, and thats exactly what mine have done
