| Do it yourself mate.. it's easy... Get your paint (it will say of it needs laquer)... get some wet-n-dry paper... 400grit and 800grit... give the surface a rub with the 800 wet-n-dry to give the paint something to 'key' to.. mask off the tyre and anything else that you don't want painting (obviously take the wheel of the car)... and then spray it... give it some time.. if it needs another coat.. sand it back a little with the 800 again and spray. I did my Golf alloys to black after the misses had kerbed them all up... cost me £20 in bits but took about 5 hours! If yours are kerbed in parts.. use the 400 first and sand it back, then get the 800 on it after and sand some more until it's smooth... "bhp sells cars, torque makes them move..." |
