I don't know which ones to go for... both are 18" with 215/35/18.. one has a gunmetal finish and one has a black finish...

I got a grey mini with black roof. I'm getting black bonnet stripes and a black grill.. will black alloys be over-kill...?

Personally i think black alloys look best when they have a chrome or polished rim. Sometimes all black ones can just look like really neglected silver ones!

Ideally I would like the polished lip with black centre.. but can't push my budget that far... plus getting these alloys cheap (£475 with tyres brand new inc. delivery)... which is why I can't decide?

I've got all black alloys on my 'other' car, but that car is black so goes well together (see attachment)... black will be easier to refurbish yourself if get the odd scuff.. however gunmetal almost goes with the body colour of the mini and will stand out with the black arches?

Go with the gunmetal. I have gunmetal 19's with polished lip. Black look too plain.

Have just ordered the gunmetal finish.. will get them tomorrow.. that takes my modding budget up to £1000.. think i'll stop now..
