| Slow puncture I'm trying to help a mate who's Cooper S has been telling her she had a slow puncture for a few days now so got it checked at the local tyre place.
They realised the air was coming from all around the rim and took the tyre off to find it held together with thick black glue! Is the this normal?
They wire brushed it all off and resealed it for and told her to go back to the place that fitted it and ask them what they hell they were doing!
Is this a normal way of sealing a tyre?
The fitter told her the glue was the reason air was being released as it was causing the tyre not to seal!
Any help or advice would be appreciate, thanks in advance. |
