Hi I am looking to change my standard brakes as well...and I found the following:

eBay.co.uk: BMW MINI ONE SUPERCHARGED Drilled & Grooved Brake Discs (item 290124926512 end time 12-Jun-07 22:56:19 BST)

I might go for them as they seem quite good and well priced! Let me know how you get on...

Im running EBC front grooved discs with mintex extreme pads both resonable priced to and bite alot better than the standard OEM brakes. Do check the sponsors though as there are some good offers on.

currently on JCW brakes with plans to upgrade to drilled and grooved discs in a couple of months but already much better than the standard setup (and still covered by waranty)

May go for the above on Willc38's car - EBC discs and Mintext Extreme pads, but can I fit something like Brembo four-pot callipers to these (thinking of yellow or black on a dark grey MCS, as red seems to be too popular?!)...and does anyone know roughly how much this would set me back?

thanks

Depends on how much you want to spend? For fast road use and abit of track day use then the EBC's are fine but if you do alot of track days and you want your mini to stop instantly then AP racing/ Brembo or Stoptech big brake kits are the best.

The GTT Spiroslots are a very good step up from standard - I purchased mine about 10 x months ago and they are fantastic!
