215/40/17s on S lites

Do 215s definatley fit on s lites? Roland said to me slites are not as wide as normal 17s so not sure if they will or not?

Also whats the speedo difference with 215/40s rather than 205/45s?

Thanks

George

217/40/17s will fit the S spokes (thats the wheel you have in your pictures you posted) as they are a 7" wide rim. My pro race 1.2s are 17x7s and run 215/40s. Bluecoopers off miniaddiction is a MINI tech and he runs 215/40s on his s spokes, as does bhozar until he bought OZs!

Oh and when I still had s spokes i was running 215/40s as well

Speedo difference is about 2 mph if i remember correct what i was told. But it is 2mph up...therefore when it says 60 its actually 58 i think. But to be fair is negligable on those rims/tyres so don't worry about it as the speedo is not that accurate anyhow
