Dare X4s - What Colour?

I have got a set of Dare X4s from my EB/W R53 MCS - they are in their original silver colour. They need refurbing before they on my new Astro Black R56, and I was thinking about a change of colour/finish as I don't think the dull silver will go well with Astro Black.

Any ideas on what colour I should go for? Is it possible to get a polished finish like the R105s? If so, is it going to cost me the earth and can anyone suggest somewhere to have it done (preferably up north)?

i was given a quote for £70 per wheel from my local refurb centre for my s-lites. Not sure if that is any help on gauging the cost?

Anthracite is always good with black!

Ive had a quote of £25 per wheel if I provide them without tyres, and I have seen the guys work before - v good. Just need to decide if I want a special finish

Agree with Jonesy, anthracite sounds nice.

I seem to remember someone talking a while back about painting their Dares black, havent seen any piccies of them though.

Maybe some of the photoshop wizards on here might be able to give you an idea of what they would look like before you go ahead ??

anthracite or dark chrome

maybe accent portions of the wheels in darker colours

Im not to keen on black/anthracite wheels on a black car, although I know alot of people are. I think Im going to go for polished, depending on the price
