DIY R90 Anthracites, battered and bruised!

Me again,

I have now learnt how to park my One properly and wish to finally refurb my gorgeous wheels. However I have a few questions.

The first is, is it better to goto main dealer to get the job done?

Also the curbing is (fortunately) exclusive to the polised rim, so if I do goto a third party wheel shop, will they be able to retain the polished effect?

The curbing is deep in some places shallow in others, and basically all around the rim of all four wheels. Is there a "stop resuscitating" point where if the wheels are that bad it can't be done?

I'll post some pics up once I get home from work.

Thanks guys

Main dealer will just get the local Chipsaway bloke to do it and then slap a premium on the price Try wickedwheels if you want the work carried out at home or work or if you want a full job done try somewhere like laptab in Brum.

Lies need defending all the time. The truth defends itself.

Thats what I would have said. Main dealers just sub contract to smaller businesses - its the same with vinyl application.

What Roofas said above/\/\/\

Good luck though. I love the R90s and would like to know how you get on refurbing them. Think I read somewhere about split rim refurbing isn't a good idea for some reason. Might want to make sure you mention they're split rim.
