MCS 15" winter rims

I was thinking 185/65R15 would be a good size for winter tires, but I heard that 15" rims would not fit on the R56 cooperS. Anyone try it yet?

The R56 Cooper S has the same size (294mm) front brake discs as those in the JCW Brake Kit for the 1st Gen MINI. There are no 15" OEM wheels that will fit over these.

I've been on this search (15" wheel) for snow tires for a while now. apparently Tirerack has a number of 15" wheels that will fit the 2007 MCS. Go there and search for winter tire package and you'll get some ideas.

Correct! They don't list 15's anywhere but with a wheel/tire package though. Nothing in steel, but 15 styles of alloys starting at US $99....

I'm still looking for a source of locking 14mm wheel bolts to mount the 16" alloys I took off my R53 when I sold it last week. Bought 'em from Tire Rack but they won't sell the bolts without wheels too.
