R90 Upkeep- Help!

Hey! just got s set of R90s one year old and in great condition BUT the previous owner used alloy wheel cleaners on them and i think the start of corrosion is beginning to appear- (after a wash the outer rim looks kind of very lightly corroded but it wipes off if you rub the edge with your finger) what can i do to keep the wheels protected and looking good! ???? Can i undo any damage? Should i wax the outer edge for protection?

Cheers!!! Appreciate any help!!!!!!!!!

Pics might help. If the corrosion wipes off then its not corrosion but a certain treatment to it. Waxing might help keep the surface sealed and a cleaner finish.

I think R90s suffer with it. I bought mine second hand and there are some very small bits that look like slight corrosion, but it might not be. I would suggest that you use wheel wax and it should keep whatever it is off.
