Finally Fitted!!

Finally got my Eibach -20mm springs fitted today - don't know how the car handles as I've not driven it yet but I'm happy with the looks (I'm so shallow!)

Just need to decide which alloys to go for - torn between OZ Superturismos WRC (White) and OZ Ultraleggeras (Race Silver)..................decisions decisions!

Also got my JCW injectors and short shifter kit fitted.

Looking very good Al, hope she handles as well as she looks.

Has to be Ultraleggeras

I'm really interested in the short shifter kit, how much of a difference is it over standard ??

Cheers
John

Unfortunately not - I'm keeping them for my "winter wheels"

Could be - but I'm sure the box says 20mm - I'll have to check when I get home.

Eibach used to do 2 sets. One in conjunction with minisport (20mm) and the other the normal eibach (30mm) they only do the 30mm now but I believe they are often advetised as "lowers the car approx 20-30mm"

ultralegras, or unless you get lucky and find someone selling superlegras which are nicer. or a nice set of team dynamics would look nice.

I have white 17" ET37 Superlegras on my Electric blue. They look amazing, but they do get rather dirty. Which isnt a problem as a clean my car weekly. I just sometimes give the wheels a quick rinse in the week too. I waited 6 months for a set of superlegras to come up for sale. There are a couple of pictures in my gallery of my car with them on.

I'm really torn on the white alloy issue - yes they look great but they need a helluva cleaning!

Didn't realise you could get Superleggera / Ultraleggeras in white......................ah well...............if I do go for white alloys I may just go for the WRC Superturismos or the Team Dynamic 1.2's.

Did you have any tracking issues when you lowered your car...?

I went to 35mm KWs and the tracking was fine. What can be altered is not tracking but camber. You can sometimes get more wear on the inner edge of your tyres as the lowing can cause the car to "toe out"
