Question stock tires and new tires

Hello All,

I m new to mini2 and this is my first thread and post. My question is, I have a 2004 MINI Cooper S with size 195/55/16 runflat tires that are now worn down and am looking into getting non runflats.

What sizes am I able to change to without having to modify the suspension or anything to my MINI and what would be a good recommended tire for someone that lives in the midwest looking for handling, performance and a comfortable ride. (Basically, I am looking at 205/50/16 Goodyear Response edge tires and want to know if the tire shop can just install them without any modifications to the car).

Cheers.

No worries ...

205/50-16 is the most common replacement size for 16" wheels.

Don't forget to reset the Tire Pressure Monitoring System after having the tires fitted.
