Where should i go

i have a mini cooper s 55 reg 2005 model

My brake pad light has just come on so i called mini! they want 248 to replace all 4 pads... this seems step? where else should i look at

what needs doing just pads or do they need to reset the sensor or i dunno

HELP!!! please

The 4 pads are about £100 from the dealers. Buy them and get it fitted by your local mechanic.

Where about in Essex are you, If you want I could put you in touch with one.

may be a bit far, but I know a small mechanic in Barking, east london who should be able to fix them on for a few quid.

But you could probably take the pads to a local mechanic and they should be able to do it. Will probably charge you about 50 quid to fix it, its a 10 mins job.
