17x7 RIMS offset 37mm, what tires size will you choose?

Hi All,

Want to change to 17x7 RIMS offset 37mm for my 04 MINI ONE CVT which run on stock suspension/spring, etc. If you were me, what tires size (below) will you choose without any rubbing/etc issues?

1. 215/45/R17
2. 215/40/R17
3. 205/40/R17
4. 205/50/R17

Sorry, goodyear F1 dont have 205/45/R17 size

Please help me choose, or anyone running any of above size with 37mm offset facing any problem?

Thanks

I have seen loads of friends with 215/40s (I run these) on 37 offset 17x7 wheels with no rubbing issues even when lowered 30mm+

I will soon be running these 215/40s on a 17x7 rim with 45 offset and 16mm spacer (this makes it the equivilant of 30 offset!)

The extra 10mm of width of the 215 on the front does help lap times a marginally. Then
again 205 is probably better on the rear.- For road tyres go for 215-40.
