Offline | Brake Pipe Warrenty Issues I put my 02 MCS (58k miles) in for a service with BMW/Mini dealer the other day. They have done a vehicle inspection and say that the brake pipes (hard pipe, not flex hose) is corroding. I would have thought that this would be covered under my cars 12 month warrenty (as i bought it as a cherished mini from a dealer), but they say it is wear and tear due to age. Has anyone else had problems with their brake pipes? Were they changed under warrenty? If not is it expensive? Thanks |
